Correct preparation helps prevent moisture-related weak layers, uneven surfaces and stringing.
Practical note: Dry the filament if it is brittle or the spool has been open for a long time.
Before purchasing, check that the printer and preparation meet all four requirements.
Prof. Lab PETG 1.75mm 1kg White — colour: white.
Prof. Lab PETG is a durable 3D printing filament with good layer adhesion, chemical resistance and dimensional stability. It is well suited to parts that need more toughness and heat resistance than PLA can provide.
PETG prints consistently and works well for both everyday functional parts and technical prototypes.
Excessive cooling can reduce PETG’s interlayer adhesion. Start with the manufacturer’s recommended settings and adjust cooling to suit the geometry of the part.
Moisture in the filament can cause stringing, bubbling and uneven extrusion. Store opened spools in a sealed container with desiccant and dry the filament before printing when necessary.
The exact printing parameters, drying recommendations and printer requirements are listed in the specification table above.
